Bottle on The Train Tasting, Part I. Pours lightly hazy, orange-gold with a light, white foam head. Nose of dried fruits, pale wood, apple and honey. Medium sweet flavor with more honey, sugary bread and bruised apples. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky ripe fruit finish with faint alcohol warmth, light woodiness, more apple and honey, bread. Moderate dryness to finish as well. Nice stuff.

Very hazy deep amber beer, big cream coloured head. A little fresh apple and a whisper of bubblegum on the nose. Palate is softish and airy with very light carbonation. A little creamy malt for a base. A nice fresh apple vibe, touch of wood and salt. Integrates well with the creamy malt. Nice barrel aged beer but the base beer seems utterly subsumed. Decent though!
