A Pale Ale brewed mainly using light malt to give it a brighter colour compared to many other beers.
Our interpretation is a pretty looking Pale Ale of lighter character since we have chosen to increase the tropical tones from the hops by adding passion fruit – which is unmistakably clear in both the smell and taste!

At a tasting, many thanks, small stable bubbly head, hazy lightish orange color, aroma of pomello, grapefruit and lychee, flavor of citrus, grapefruit bitterness, light bready maltiness, light fruity sourness, feels very fresh. Really nice and refreshing.

Tap@Taproom Malmö, Malmö, Sweden - (24/10/2015) medium hazy golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a medley of tropical and citrus fruits, some light caramel sweetness, grapefruit, peachy, satsuma, lemon, refreshing, hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place in Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Hazy golden. Great hoppy aroma full of tropical fruits. Flavor is quite dry, with a sweetish note, and nice tropical fruity hops, quite juicy. Quite light-bodied. Very nice and really refreshing.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear golden color with small white head. Passion fruit, litchi and peach aroma with light resiny hops. Tropical fruit flavor with passion fruit, kiwi and peach. Mildly bitter finish. Very nice!

33cl bottle from trade with VsXsV as part of the Euro Local Swap! Pours slightly hazy deep golden colour with a medium to small white head. Aroma of citrus, peach, lemon, intense hoppy. Taste is intense hoppy, tropical fruits, citrus, grass, very delicious!

Flaska från SB. Stor mycket fruktig doft med passionsfrukt, tropisk fruktsallad, frysta jordgubbar, nektar och lite citrus och tallskott. Mycket fruktig smak, lätt oljig, mjuk munkänsla, lite tallskott jämte frukten, måttlig beska. Väldigt drickbar och smakrik. Riktigt gott.

(330ml bottle from Systembolaget) Pours gold with a small head of white froth. Aroma of malt that’s got some caramel and some white cracker/bread, mango/passion fruit, grapefruit, grass, light pine. Flavour citrus, mango, crackery malt, fresh grass and pine needle, lightly sweet but with a pretty dry crisp finish that has light to moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with average carb. Nothing wildly crazy here but this is a nice fresh and drinkable APA from Poppels.

Draught @ Haket. Pours clear golden with a small frothy offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity with crackers, caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, passion fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, grape skins and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny bitter and heavy fruity. Mouthfeel is round, tiny astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with crackers, caramel, grapefruit juice, passion fruit, star fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest.
