Cask at Wellington, Stockport (not listed in RateBeer). Pours a golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts and oranges in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite bitter with a creamy texture, but with some underlying sweetness. Traditional hops are quite prominent, alongside corn and grass plus a hint of citrus. Finish is dry and slightly sticky. It’s OK, but quite forgettable.

Cask at the Calthorpe Arms, Clerkenwell on 13th March 2017. Clear amber with no foam or lacing. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Caramel malt, boiled-sweet and barleysugar in-mouth. Sweet finish, more of the same. Light-bodied and somewhat flat mouthfeel.

Tried at the three horseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with a white head. Light malty and fruity hop aroma and taste. A touch bland.

Pint on tap at Norfolk Arms Glossop. Sharp citric/caramel nose. Hazy amber beer with small creamy head. Creamy mouthfeel with bitter notes. Finish is bitter lemon and grapefruit. Interesting in a good way.

Cask (Crown & Anchor, Manchester) - Golden with a white head. Biscuity malt, earthy hops and yeast in the aroma. Grapefruit, peach and biscuity malt all feature in the taste.

Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
