Bottle @ home. Unclear golden body under a minimalistic white head. Aroma has ripe apple, apple core and a bit perfumed. Taste is sweet with some acidity, apple core, apple marmalade, mild acidity and something that feels a bit artificial like bubble gum or something in that direction. Fine body with the same sweet and slightly artificial aftertaste. Drinkable but not a cider I could have a lot of.

Nice fizzy shortlasting head, hazy orangy color. Aroma is strange funky fruity, buttery with a mixture of overripe sour apples, mild vinegar and yeasty homebrewing booze I remember from my childhood. Taste is slightly dry funky fruity, sour concentrated apple juice, mild vinegar, yeast, butter, flowers, alcohol, apple cores, sorrel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Some weird shit!

Cloudy orange, no head. Aroma of fermented apple, hint of mandarin. Dry taste, fruity and zesty. Citrus notes from natural fermentation. Complex and drinkable.

Solsletta 141222. Golden-orange color with white bubbles. Aroma is apples, toffee, apple core . Flavor is apple, toffee, core, grass, alcohol. Nice cider.

Bottle, 375ml. From trade with Bryne. A quite foggy golden-orange colored cider with some carbonation and a film of white bubbles. The aroma feels rather butterscotchy, toffee-ish at first, but soon the apple kick in, as apple pie, apple juice and some apple cores. Hints of grass and alcohol too. It's full-bodied and lightly warming on the palate, softly carbonated and perhaps a bit sweet. Still with some sourness though. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma, lett buttery and toffeeish and with some pear and a touch of bark. Medium length finish. Feels a bit messy this one. Sure drinkable though, and perhaps better with some food, but I hope they will improve in the coming years. 221214

0,375 flaske (takket være seremonimester Melbergs omtanke), delt med Kitty: uklar gylden litt skum. Behagelig eplearoma, men smaken treffer ikke helt hos oss - den virker ufokusert, nesten som om den skulle vært laget av tilfeldig sammenraskede hageepler. Ettersmaken var heller ikke særlig inspirerende.

750 ml green bottle, vintage 2021, from the cidery. No sulphites are added. Freeze concentrated, but not as much as a typical ice cider. ABV is 7.5%. Moderately hazy pale golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Interesting aroma of ripe dessert apples and oxidised Norwegian winter apples, also notes of honey (though no honey is added here, unlike their other cider), hints of wet moss. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Refreshing and nice apple flavour (varieties Aroma and Rubinstep), medium sweet. Both first year ciders from Eiane Gard are very enjoyable, what a good start for this small cidery!
