On tap at Zero Degrees, Reading, at a stated ABV of 4.8%. A slightly hazy, reddish copper pour with a ring of cream head; grainy aroma; soft and fruity in the mouth with a grainy body and underlying caramel; the finish is prickly and lightly bitter.

[Keg at ZeroDegrees Reading] Pours amber with a small white head and a slight but annoying fizz. As with all ZeroDegrees beers it was served far too cold - my hands were icy by the time I’d used them to warm the beer to the correct temperature. Aroma of orange, which carries into a fruity initial taste. A sprinkle of herbs and a lump of granite, followed by some earthy bitterness. Sweet caramel behind. OK, but a little let down by a very thin, watery mouthfeel.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Gold/orange colour, no real head. It’s an OK slightly orange fruity lager. I liked it, bit of bite on end, but fairly simple beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms JDW, Bristol 8/10/08 - part of a CAMRA ’Locale’ event. Called "Fraconian" on the pump clip, but I assume this was a typo. Slightly hazy gold in colour with a slight white head. Subdued aroma of straw, sweet malts and floral hops. Flavour had more sweetness, with a hint of grassy hops and a short, dry finish. An ok, lagery beer.
