Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, wood and peat. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 010314

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is black. Aroma and taste are peat, tar, malt, chocolate, ashtray and hops. One dimensional and not my prefered type of beer.

Bottle @ yespr. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty smoky woody Islay whisky aroma. Roasted malty woody Islay whisky flavor. Has a roasted malty woody Islay finish.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a thin, tan head. Roasted aroma with whiskey barrel, peat, smoke, coffee and chocolate. Taste is light sweet. Medium body, soft carbonation. Finishes roasted with smoke and whiskey barrel. Definitely for the whiskey barrel lover.

Bottle - pours black with nearly tiny brown head. Aroma and taste of roasted dark malts, slight bitter choc, woody and slightly smoky on the palate, with a toasty roasted finish.

pitch dark, no head, aroma is peat smoke, malts, flavor is peat smoke, sweet malts, not so salty as the others, wood, ends peated and malty.

Bottled. A black beer with a rim of brown head. The aroma has notes of iodine, roasted malt, peated smoke, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, iodine, peated smoke, and soy sauce, leading to a bitter finish.

75 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is iodine and dark roasted malty. Smooth roasted, iodine and dark roasted malty. Smooth and caramelish, dry and roasted.smoked.
