Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Hazy orange color, full sized white to off-white head. Aroma isn’t entirely fresh it seems, but there’s still a decent hoppyness there. Tastes about the same: malts, hops, bitter, but all a bit old imo. And actually not a double IPA anyway. At least it doesn’t taste like one.

Alcohol bite in the finish. I feel a headache coming on. Bit of swing and a miss.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14, acquired from Sourced Market. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white bubbly covering. Nose is a little plasticy, bitter tropicals, grapefruit, pine. Taste improves comprising eatthy hops, mineral bite, bitter grapefruit, light booze, sweet tones . Medium + bodiment, fine carbonation, semi drying close, light boozey notes evident. Ok but a little lopsided, the plastic nose didn’t get me off to a good start with this one!
