Tap at Brouwcafe, Scheveningen: Hazy dark amber coloured brew with an fruity bitter taste with slighty refreshing hints of citrus. So this one they got very right.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a murky dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with a zesty citrus yeast alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tasted the March 2014 beer and I must say that this is one of the best beers I’ve had from the Brouwcafe. Lots of flavour, nothing dominates and the yeast is toned down in favour of the citrus notes. For anyone else that may have rated last years beer, I urge you to try the 2014 version.

Tap @ Lammetjesdag, Studio. Besides the wonderful appearance of the barlady, there was not much springjoy in this beer. Please skip the belgian yeast in these beers, it’s horrible. --- Beer merged from original tick of Voorjaarsvreugde on 31 Mar 2013 at 16:28 - Score: 5.
