We do love a Dunkel here at WB, one of the oldest beer styles dating back to 1516. This beer is a rather special creation, using the same YQ regenerative wheat from Fred Price’s Gotherhey Farm which Ideal Day are using in their beers. The water of Westcombe is perfect for darker beer and Woodshedding are creating some absolutely lovely beer from the rural heart of Somerset.

Decent overall. Modest toasted grains, background dried toffee, berries, a little earth, dried cereal, toffee, brown bread. Drinks fine.

Fra fat på Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden: klar kobberrød med fint skum som varer. Røde bær, kjeks, urter, grapefrukt og litt granskudd/furunål. Saftig avslutning.

Keg at Small Bar, Bristol. Pours clear dark brown with beige foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, bread, malt loaf. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.
