22oz bottle at the DC Beer bottle share, pours a murky brown, black with some grey head. Nose has malt, some cardboard, some soggy toast, the booze is there, as is some cocoa, just a little coffee. Flavor is more rootbeer and cola with booze, cocoa, soggy toast, coffee is faint now, if present at all. Finishes a bit thin for the style.

Bottle. Pours a black color with small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate woody coffee aroma. Roasted malty chocolate coffee woody flavor. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate and coffee finish.

Dark brown. Sweet, esters, milk chocolate nose. Sweet, chocolate syrup and slight fudgeyness. Good. Balanced, soft, just a hint of alcohol late.
