Cask at the brewpub, London. Pours clear, bright gold with a small, frothy white head. Lots of raw, flowery hops in the nose, pine, grass, dandelions. Light sweet flavkr with strong, assertive bitterness of grass, straw and citrus rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Grassy, raw bitter hop finish with mellow lime, orange and hay. Not bad.

At the Brew Pub. Almost clear gold beer with a tiny white head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Mild minerals. Very good fresh hops - floral orange and tangerine. A little pith and marmalade. Semi dry finish with a modest bitter linger. Very drinkable.

Cask, gravity, Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb 2013 w/e of Friday 15th, Saturday 16th February 2013 Gold with a slim white head, good clarity lacking a little sparkle initially (Thursday) but strangely regains this by Friday. At first I felt that this was a little too dry and lemony and a bit flat but as I have already mentioned this just got better, perhaps it was just a little slow out of the traps. Hoppy, dry and bitter and very decent, maybe could have done with a little more complexity, but nonethless an enjoyable beer. I also had this on handpump at Brew Wharf Tues 12th Feb 2013.
