Bottle - Intense funk and some sharp vinegar and vanilla. Pretty clear light gold with a small frothy head. Very light, yellow apple, farmhouse notes and light acidity. Pretty decent, but nothing special.

Draft at ANXO as Val D’ornon. Hazy yellow color, still. Aroma of light funk and earth. Taste has decent funk, very drinkable.

750ml bottle from Pipetown, pours a murky green gold with zero head. Nose has green apples, some straw, a little lemon, light wood, some funk. Flavor has green apple, brie, some cheese cloth, light grass. Dry finish. I like my Basques with a bit more complexity, but nice.

Bottle 750ml.Unclear matt light to medium yellow colour with a small, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple, apple skin - peel, green apples, tart, celery, farmyard notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, tart apple, green apples, apple skin - peel, light dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20130913]
