(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 3 Oct 2015) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with fresh coffee, dark chocolate and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of freshly ground coffee, chocolate, black rye bread and a balanced coffee bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Well made and very tasty, with a good coffee character. Very nice.

Bottle at home. Over year old bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a huge, creamy, light brown head. Lots of roasted malt and coffee beans in the aroma along with dark chocolate, ash, earth, leather and licorice. The flavor is also pretty roasted with more dark chocolate, ash and coffee. Has a silky mouth feel, medium to full body and a medium bitterness. A well-roasted IS. Not very complex but really tasteful.

330 ml bottle. Good looking, almost clear dark amber body with a big, creamy beige head. Aroma is dominated by coffee and not leaving room for much more than some dark malt in the background. Flavor is sweetish, with some dark coffee type bitterness and hint of medium sweet dark malt. Medium body and coffee in aftertaste. Nice coffee flavor, but a bit one dimensional.
