Sampled from draught, shared at RBESG. Clear red colored beer, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, a hint of caramel, nicely bitter, some hops, quite like it. Nice one.

Cask at the King’s Arms, Shoreditch. Red-brown, no head. Very flat. Pine aroma, with strawberry, red wine and a touch of must. Bitter/sour taste with an acrid bitter finish. The mealtimes asserts itself in the taste profile. Very weak palette. This was the last beer of an evening filled with very good beers. Perhaps it suffered by comparison, but it didn’t have anything to make me want to try it again.

Cask at The Rising Sun, Berkhamsted, Herts. A red/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, malty, fruity aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, fruity, really malty, slight sweetness. Enjoyable stuff it reminded me of a UK version of Lagunitas Maximus.
