A well balanced pale golden ale with initial hop bitterness derived from Chinook and Goldings hops. The distinct citrus grapefruit and hop aroma leads to a crisp, dry finish.

Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 03/04/13. Clear golden amber with a good sized off white head that retains well. Lacing ensues. Nose is pale malt, citrus, lemon, touch caramel, hops. Taste comprises much the same, pale malt, orange sherbet, light sugars, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Ok drinkable GB but easily forgettable as so many 3.0-3.2 rates are !

Picked up at bar 2, NWAF, cask, shared half. Bright amber coloured body. Shiny naked at the top. Aroma of grass and hay. Mild taste of grapefruits mingled with grainy malts. Dry bitter endnotes. Ok thirst quencher (Manchester, 25.01.2013).

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours cloudy gold with a bubbly, white head. Aroma holds grassy hops and rindy citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor, light toast malts, some lemon citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Has a very bitter finish, grass and earth, some straight dirt, citrus rind, light sugar. Very nice brew.
