Darker clean brown colour with copper-amber highlights. The head is fluffy, light beige with good retention and some good creamy-soapy lacing. Dark fruit aromas of plum, dates, prunes over the roasted malts. The flavours show more the roasted barley, mild cereal notes and a decent hoppy finish, but not too grassy. Wet, thinner mouthfeel with a touch of dryness in the end. Hints of the dark fruits lingers. A refreshing, dark lager has enough to offer, without being thick and over the top.

This dark poured nice and deep amber, almost black amber. Creamy head, tan coloured. Nice lacing. Scents include coffee, roasted malts and a little ripe fruit. First swig was delicious with flavours of light smoke, dark roasted malts, light coffee and a little cocoa. Finish is roasty with light coffee flavours lingering.
