Can from the lcbo. Slightly. Hazy golden pour, with a large white head. Hops are faint but grassy, crisp cereals, some minerals and light yeast. Crisp mouth feel, solid carb. Finish is quite bitter for the style, hints of pine, nice cereals quite nice, but the style should be changed to kolsch.

Like having to listen to Moose FM on the radio while at the cottage, which tries to be everything to everyone, this beer I suspect is trying to please that straight forward crowd. Problem is some folks don't want bland beer. Presents as a can-crusher golden pour, with white head. Tastes neutral hay malt, with a bit of bitterness. It's eminently meh and not worth it for anyone who cares enough about their beer to be on ratebeer. But please do try other beers by this brewery, once you get past the top-40 offerings like this, they do have some decent beers.

This golden ale poured a clear, medium yellow colour with a bright white, soapy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include corn, dough and a little hay. First swig was very thin with flavours of light malt, a little corn and a little weak white wine. Finish is quite lifeless and watery with corn and white wine flavours lingering.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with a slight off-white frothy head, good retention and some foamy lacing. Aromas of cereal grains and sweet malts, with some light spicy hops. These hops are also felt in the taste over the mild cereal malts. The sweetness is tones down here. A little crisp mouthfeel. The light spiciness lingers. Nothing wrong here and pretty refreshing Pilsner all-around.
