Can from the lcbo dark brown pour, small beige head. Nice Aroma of molasses, with a great savory nuttiness. Hints if roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Nice mouth feel, carb is good. Low bitterness, very nutty, hints of Hazel, and roasty cocoa, and some toffee. Pretty nice.

This ale poured a deep dark amber colour with a light tan coloured head. Little lacing. Scents include caramel, bread and brown sugar. First swig was delicious. With flavours of caramel and a little toast. Not overhopped like too many beers of today. Finish is lightly sweet with smokey caramel flavours lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep amber colour, almost brown, kind of hazy with a frothy very warm cap, good retention and creamy lacing. Sweet nose with caramel, some dark fruits and nutty notes. The taste has some decent bitterness with roasted malts in the finish. Seems like the notes that define a bock are watery, or overpowered by the hops. Still, an ok winter session lager.
