Can from the brewery. Dark brown pour, with a huge beige head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of vert sweet roasty malts, but the malt smells like extract, i doubt this was all grain. The body is thin, and the carb super low. A very sweet, homebrew malty finish, with some roasted malt, and light nuts. This reminds me alot of my first homebrewed stout from years back. Not terrible, but no way is this an all grain beer.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a nice, creamy brown head. Scents include roasted malt, smoke, cocoa and white paste glue? First swig was about half way between creamy and thin. Lots of burnt flavour with a little dark chocolate thrown in. Finish is nothing but deliciously burnt. Very nice!

On tap at Ottawa Craft Beer Fest. Thin texture but interesting chocolate accents. True to style. Nothing more. Texture mince mais les accents de chocolat sont très intéressants. Les notes sont de chocolat au lait, de café, d’un peu de cassonnade. Conforme au style sans plus.

On tap at the Ottawa Beer fest. It pours a dark cola brown with a creamy beige head that leaves lacing which coats the glass. Nutty, roasty dark malts with a lactic tangy yoghurt aroma to it? Medium-light bodied with a soft carbonation. The flavor is roasty, smokey ham, some oatmeal and a slightly tangy finish. Not bad.
