Quiet, complex with a touch of acidity and barnyard-y flavours reminiscent of fresh silage, morning hearths and foggy apple blossom.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM I think. Pours clear honey-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Light-medium sweet, pretty clean, moderate saison yeast expression, mellow grassy hi tiredness, sun-kissed wheat, lemon rind. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. N idly rounded finish, more crispy wheat, mild yeast, lightly bitter hay. Enjoyable saison.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear golden body with a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of liquorice root and chalky minerals. Flavour of salted bread and flower petals. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. It’s good but a touch chalky.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Soft haze on a medium gold. Fine white head sticks around. Nose has honeyed grain. Sweat, sweaty yeast. Light floral hoppage. Taste is pretty sweet, and a little floral and spicy, with a light bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Not too clean, really. Feels a tad stodgy. Fine, foamy carbonation. Moderate spicy finish. Expected more.
