Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 19, 2021. Aroma is hop forward with grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit, berry and light dank resin and pine notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, pale gold color with a large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly hop forward with a feather unique profile of berries, citrus, tropical fruit and lighter dank resin and pine notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid IPA with a really unique and enjoyable hop profile. It's fruity but not passion fruit, guava and mango forward like so many IPAs. Malt profile is very light, but it provides enough backbone to carry the fruity notes.
