Poured from a 16 oz can dated August 16, 2022. Aroma is hop forward with moderate notes of grapefruit, dank, pine resin, and lighter notes of berry and passion fruit. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, pale, golden straw color with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that slowly recedes to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Fairly high lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong notes of grapefruit and dank, pine resin notes that linger well into the finish. Lighter notes of berry and passion fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent IPA that has a decidedly West Coast IPA hop character and bitterness. The malt profile is light and fairly crisp. While slightly hazy, this is not a NEIPA.
