Cask at Bacchus, Birmingham. Aroma is malty but that's about it. Clear gold. Foamy white head. Tangy berries followed by spicy malt. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Polite Ale.

Handpull cask at the Walrus & Carpenter, City of London. I can't believe I've not rated this before! Dark brownish gold, clear with a tight off-white head. Aroma is floral and malty, a bit of grass and mushroom. Sweet taste with a light hoppy turn at the finish. More bitter English hops in the aftertaste, soft to medium carbonation. A tasty pale ale without a lot of character but still passable.
