11/9/2019. Cask at the Magpie, London. Pours clear golden with a small just off-white head. Aroma of hops, sweet malt, caramel, fruit, flowers and biscuit. Medium sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite drinkable.

On cask, creamy just white head on a clear tea coloured still body. Malt & berry aroma. Medium bodied with a slight tingle. Bitter sweet berry, sweet citrus, light malt & spicy tea tastes.

Cask @ Old Wellington, Manchester. Pours clear Golden with a White head. Citrus, perfumey, bread. Dry and bitter. Smooth. Dry finish.

(Cask at Dog & Duck, Soho, London, 23 May 2018) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, orange peel and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, apricots, orange peel and a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Hardly exciting, but perfectly drinkable. Quite enjoyable.

Cask@The Mudlark, London, 05/02/2018 - golden amber pour with white head. Sweet bready and light toasted malty, some caramel sweetness, vague citrus fruity touch, light to medium body, twiggy grassy bitter finish.

Pint on tap at Hornimans at Hays (Hay's Galleria, London.) Pours clean dark copper with a tight, long-lasting, tan head. Aroma is palm syrup, brown sugar, ruccola. Low carb. Mouth is fresh, medium body, quite bitter. Nice and rich.

Cask at the Porcupine. A very standard English style pale ale that I would personally classify as a bitter. There was malt with balancing bitter hops and a good low abv. It won't set the world on fire, but it is a pleasant beer.
