Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Dark amber with next to no head. Has a herbal sweetness in both aroma and taste. It’s slightly dry with a light easy-drinking texture.

Bottle at an engagement do somewhere in New Addington. Brown pour with a light beige head. Aromas of toffee, caramel and dark fruit. Toffee malt angle in the flavour with a spot of raisin lingering in there too. Nice, easy going ale.

Bottle at home, big thanks to John my father in law, 11/04/14. Golden amber with a well appointed off white head that retains well. Nose is bready, light biscuit, metallic notes, fruit rind. Taste comprises malty notes, hot wheatabix, toffee, light fruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitterness in the close. Ok bitter.
