A smooth well-balanced traditional ruby bitter. Five different malts including crystal and amber create a rich toffee/cherry flavour. Earthy Fuggles and Goldings hops combine in a smooth English character with hints of kiwifruit and toffee.

Handpull cask at Derby Tup, Whittington Moor, Chesterfield for £2.50 a bloody pint. Deep red, clear with a gorgeous beige head heaving lots of lacing. Malty aroma, soft and resinous with perhaps a hint of blackberry. Sweet taste followed by a fuller bitterness spreading to the back of the throat in the long finish. Full body with soft carbonation. Incredible for the style.
