Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 330ml bottle by the courtesy of fonefan. Declining white head. Unclear golden coloured body. Restrained aroma of citrus fruits and herbal hops. Taste of mainly citrus peels balanced by mid-sweet, earthy malts. Smooth bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing, session-like brew (hotel room, London 16.08.2013).

Very hazy straw-coloured beer with a thick foamy head. As you’d expect, the aroma is very citrusy and the taste is similar. It’s a sharp, bitter, dry, citrus flavour with a strong floral finish. There’s also a hint of sweetness too which I can’t quite place. Very, very nice.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a tight white head. Lively carbonation. Lots of sticky lacing. Aroma of bread, pineapple, grapefruit and mango. Flavour is sharp citrus - lime and lemon - and biscuit. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. More subtle and bready than other Kernel APAs, but no less delicious.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy aroma has notes of grapefruit and citrus, passion fruit and other tropical fruit. Taste is slightly bitter hoppy, very fruity, notes of grapefruit and citrus, tangerine, some mineral, caramel malt basis with a biscuit touch. Very good.

Light haze on this amber beer. Tidy white head. Palate is smooth and a little soft, semi dry. Strong pithy orange, fresh orange and a little peel. Touches of yellow grapefruit, mild mango and lemon marmalade. Finishes semi dry. Lots of peel and pith in this very hoppy brew. Lovely!

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours lightly hazed gold with a strong, frothy white head. The aroma gives off some bready pale malts - certainly more bready pale malts than a standard Kernel APA - plus some semi-ripe citrus, tangerine. Light sweet flavor, more fairly bready malts, hints of white bread, some melon, tangerine, light rocks and minerals, lime. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Quite clean to finish with dry bread, fairly dried citrus fruits, some grapefruit, lemon rind, tangerine, pine needles. Exceedingly drinkable stuff, to be sure.
