From old notes. From tap at CBC 2013. Black color with small off white head. Malty and herbal spicy aroma, some coffee and chocolate notes. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with flat carbonation.

Cask (gravity) @ CBC 2013 [ Blue Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, DenmarkClear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, spicy, cardamom. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, heavy spicy, cardamom, spicy bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130504]

Draught @ CBC2013. Pours hazy blackish brown with a rather small creamy offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is malty and spicy with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, ginger, cloves, cardamon, orange zest, black pepper corns, oatmeal cookies, black tea, ginger, hay, soil and burnt caramel. Taste is bitter, malty and spicy with roasted malts, burnt cookies, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon, black tea, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, orange zest, hay, soil and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is soft, round, spicy astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter and spicy with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, cloves, cardamon, ginger, cinnamon, soil, hay and orange zest. Weird and even though I’m a chai tea lover this was to creative for me.

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Session III. Pours deep black with a creamy tan head. Massive chai tea aroma, some cinnamon. Light to medium sweet flavor with dry roast, slightly less intense chai character, further cinnamon, faint cocoa, mellow roast. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Light dry roasted malt finish, some mild spicy chai, hints of milk chocolate. An interesting experimental beer that turned out alright.

4th May 2013
CBC. Opaque dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Palate is very light and a little soft. Tangy sweet smoked tea. Lesser tangy fruits and bitter dark fruits well buried. Semi dry finish. Original and interesting!

From cask. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma teaish and roasted malty. Herbal, teaish and roasted malty. Teasih and light herbal dry finish.

CBC. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and cinnamon. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. A bit thin. 040513
