On tap @Sam Beer (Rome). Giallo pesca, mediamente torbida, viva, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note floreali, citriche, di erbe officinali. In bocca è citrica con note di erbe officinali e leggero medicinale. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Ok, but not my cup of tea.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is somewhat fruity and floral with some notes of lemon, pear, stone fruit, and yarrow. Moderate herbal, spicy notes with pepper, coriander, clove, and oregano. Light cracker, caramel and grain notes with a hint of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, good color with some yellow gold hues and a large, thick, fluffy, white head that exhibits really nice retention as it slowly recedes to a smaller head that persists. Fairly high lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light caramel, cracker and grain notes. Fairly strong bitterness with light alcohol notes. Light lemon, pear and stone fruit notes with a bit of a floral character. Moderately strong herbal, spicy, woody notes with oregano, pepper, clove and a woody, grassy note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty decent beer. The bitterness is a touch strong as is the herbal, spicy notes. You adjust to it though and it works nicely with the lighter, sweeter malt notes and the fruity, floral esters. Really nice mouthfeel.
