Bottle from Brew Cavern. It pours amber/copper with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is bright, zingy, lemon sherbet, lime, refreshers, fruitella, gooseberry, candied lemons, fizzy candy, fizzy cola bottles and oak. The taste is firmly dry, plenty of oak, light tannin, straw, grassy, sandalwood, hit of vanilla, fragrant, juniper, peppery spice, some bitterness, refreshers, lemon - lime, sherbet, touch of gooseberry fool and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and lovely fluffy carbonation. Velvety mouth feel. Really rather classy.

Bottle, online from Hoptimism. Pours cloudy orange gold with a cream cap. All the bretty funk, oak, lemon citrus, earthy and prominently herbal. Yeasty & dry. Medium body with loose carbonation. Right up my strasse. Beaut.

Bottle from the Wee Vault. Appearance - cloudy amber orange. White head with some yeast visible. Nose - toffee and funky. A bit dirty and earthy on the yeast side. Metallic. Taste - dry toffee and caramel. Hazelnut with sweet and dry spice. Palate - medium bodied, then bone dry through middle and finish. Overall - I like it, but I don't think the yeast dominance works so well with this sort of beer compared to pale styles.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Cork & Cask. Pours clear gold with a creamy, pure white head. Light-medium sweet funky, pale grain, grass, yeast, citrus peel. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Subtly warming finish, nips of peach, honey, more funk, pale bread. Quite nice.
