Cask at Beer Emporium, Bristol. Sampled Oct 2017. Pour’s almost clear orange amber with a smidge of white head. Aroma: very faint pumpkin & associated spices, honey, a little citrus, grass. Taste: light sweet & bitter, light pumpkin, faint caramel, hedgerow fruits, light floral. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Inoffensive.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival - Le Gothique, London. Pours clear, bright gold with a foamy white head. Nothing about this beer says ’pumpkin’. It’s a fine golden ale, though. A bit of citrus rind action, light and dry doughy pale malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dirty hay bitterness in the finish, some orange citrus, dry white bread. Fine, but not a pumpkin beer.

Cask gravity at Wandsworth Halloween fear 2013. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is soft pumpkin, light sweetness, earthy, dough and spongecake. The taste is grainy, spice, hay, wood, earth, light bitterness, light fruitiness and really not that much pumpkin with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not much pumpkin character. A bit disappointing...

Cask at Holborn Whippet with Sarah. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and a hint of pumpkin and grass. Flavor begins with sweet grain hay and earthy grass with just a hint of pumpkin.

On gravity at Swindon Beer Festival, 25/10/2012. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of hedgerow fruits with a touch of pumpkin and grassy hops. Flavour had some cereal malts up front, with some earthy pumpkin sweetness following, before a dryish finish. Ok.
