Cask, handpump, Craft, Clerkenwell, Saturday 15th September 2012 Pours dark gold, thick in the mouth, littls syrupy, big in the mouth but pales in comparison to the Fyne Ales Sanda. Sweet, big hoppiness, good but not great. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

On cask at the Cask Pimlico (03/08/12) pouring a clear amber gold with a small frothy white head which retained fairly well. Fruity sweet smelling nose. Flavour also very sweet, a little too so for my liking. Getting various citrus fruits, sweet toffee apple and sugars. The alcohol is fairly well disguised. Fullish bodied and not a beer to rush, ok overall but not really what I’d expected as was hoping for a hop fest !

Keg at The Old Red Cow, London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white cap. Nose of wheat, biscuits and tropical fruits. Big sweet flavor with loads of wheat, white sugar, some pee, light pine, citrus, orange. It’s strong but the alcohol doesn’t poke through too much. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with lots more wheat, moderate grassy hops, orange, straw, slight lemon, very faint toasted sugar and hay. Interesting. It’s like a wheat/saison DIPA or something.
