500ml bottle - Pours a lightly hazed golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is bread and honey, lemon and woody notes. A moderately sweet taste, bready sweet malts, honey and woody oak flavours with a light spicy bitterness in the finish.

500ml bottle. Pours light hazy golden with a white cap. Aroma: yeast, lemon, bread, honey, white wine barrel. Taste: moderate sweet with low to moderate bitterness, bread, barley, light vinous tang. Medium body with soft carbonation. Tastes it's strength, quite potent. Dangerous. An unusual beer but I enjoyed it

A Xmas gift from the missus. Waitrose. 8 quid, apparently. I wouldn’t have paid it. Soft haze on a pale gold. Fine and sticky white head. Looks the beans. Nose has decent noble hop on it. Bit tangy and vinous. Touch of something you might think is wine barrel, and absolutely nothing you might think is brandy barrel. Taste is pretty sweet. Touch of twang. Smooth mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Never ever feels 10%. Fucking hell, looking at the label, this equates to 5 units on the ale fucks you up scale. Overall I enjoyed it.
