Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Etre online. Pours unclear gold with a bubbly, almost non-existent head. Nice complexity in this one, some pale oaky character, lemony tang, moderate acidity, nips of grass, grapefruit, melon, tangerine, salt. Medium bodied with soft, spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, somewhat dry and quenching, further lemony acidity, a spread of other tart citrus fruits, background fresh grass, undertones of pale wood. Lots to enjoy in here.

Bottle. Etre Gourmet, which is the cheapest way of procuring Buxton beers for me, despite living 50 minutes away from the brewery! Pale, rose gold. Light haze. No head to speak of. Nose has new leather. Sultanas. Some peach stone. Some glue. Taste is tart, vinous, and acetic. Pretty dry. Very low carbonation. This has the feel of a really old homemade cider, that’s been forgotten about in the cellar. Tart, vinegary finish. Well, I don’t know if this needs time to develop in the bottle, but as it stands it’s all over the shop, and isn’t really any good.

330ml bottle, sourced online from the brewery. Pours pale orange golden with virtually no head. Aroma: acetic, light funk, white wine grapes. Taste: it's incredibly dry, light sweet, grape skins, vinous white wine tartness, woody oak. Light bodied, no carbonation. Dry finish. Enjoyed this
