Creamy white head on an unclear dark golden coloured body. Haribos, nectarine & exotic fruits aroma. Medium bodied, for with a sharp clean back. Nectarine, Haribos & peppery tastes with a zesty bitter hopped up finish. Good.

Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. 7.0%. Very hazy gold. Messy, bubbly, white head. Big citra. Lots of orange. Notes of strawberry. Taste is citrusy sweet. Nice tang. Gets a little, zesty bitter. Nice mouthfeel. Juicy and soft. That tangy, zestiness rises on the finish. Nice and juicy. Good one.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy straw colour with a big frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is huge grassy hop, pine needles. The flavour is strong bitter with a smooth uber grass nettle citra hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. A real grass box classic. Loved it!

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Well clearly I missed this first time round so I guess this was brewed again. I mean I like my beers unfiltered but this is pushing it. An unattractive pale brown muddy sludgy colour. Lasting white head. Lovely Citra aroma. People say dank hops. Not sure. I like the zesty freshness of this. Oh my. Again, like the Saison Amarillo and X Ale before this, it’s a completely effortless beer. Andy the brewer is at the top of his game. Better than Kernel? On the basis of this weekend? Yes. Effortlessly tasty and beautiful IPA. Light delicate and simply finessed. Wow.
