Etwas zu dunkel für ein typisches österreichisches Märzen. Malziger Geruch, minimale Nuancen von Trockenobst und Karamell. Dies findet sich auch geschmacklich. Hinten raus kommt eine leicht bittere, röstige Note dazu. Allerdings alles bei weitem nicht so intensiv, wie die Farbe und die ordentlichen 5,6 % Alk. es erwarten lassen würden. Trotzdem wohlschmeckend, weich und sehr süffig. Die geringe Carbonisierung hat hier auch ihren Anteil. Ein interessantes und schmackhaftes Biobier.

Bottle, 75cl. Color: Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, caramel hints. Taste: Malty, caramel, floral hop notes. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Hints of toffee, butterscotch. Medium body, below average carbonation. Pretty smooth mouthfeel. Ok.

Bottle. Pours a clear, orange color, with a big, frothy, beige head. The aroma is butterscotch, orange peel, bread dough, and pine sap. Sweet and yeasty, with a touch of bitterness. Light body, with a creamy, syrupy palate. This is a simple, very yeasty, malty, and refreshing beer. Pretty nice.

getrunken Ende Mai 2016 Zum Steinbier kann man hier nicht mehr viel hinzufügen, das nicht schon hier steht. Das Biobier aus dem Hause Gusswerk ist ein feines Bier, das man in vielen Bioläden bekommt. Auch wenn ich zuerst skeptisch war, was die heißen Stein bewirken sollen, so hat mich der Geschmack doch überzeugt.

Bottle at the Gold Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is gluey toffee malt, light tropical fruits, light dry floral hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with smooth sweet toffee caramel malt, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
