100% German ingredient stout with a base of spelt malt. Spelt gives a mild nuttiness, and a slight acidity that makes bitterness pop. Beer was fermented cold with a traditional Dusseldorf Altbier Yeast strain.

14/XII/24 - 44cl can from the brewery @ ElManana’s place, BB: 17/X/25, canned: 17/X/24, batch 817 (2024-1279) Thanks to ElManana for sharing the can!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, good roast, some yeast, banana, malty, grains, some chocolate, good stuff! MF: soft carbon, full body, creamy texture. Taste: oh my, lovely, good roast, very nice, a bit sweet, chocolate notes, a bitter touch, some caramel, lovely! Aftertaste: more roast, dry, bitter, cocoa powder, a little sweet, quite some alcohol, sugary, nice roast in the finish, very nice beer!

Can shared by my bro. It pours like motor oil, opaque darkest brown to black with a small brown head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, bitter - sweet, fragrant, herbal, damp grass, dry oak, sappy, resin, toasted brown sugar, umami, liquorice, rocky road, premium dark chocolate and espresso coffee. The taste is firmly dry, snap of bitterness, toothy, chewy, bitter - sweet character, oily, dark chocolate torte, gateaux, some umami, liquorice allsorts, rocky road, sappy, resinous, toffee, wood, brown bread, rye, peppery and warming booze with a dark roasted finale. Fullsome body, average carbonation and velvety mouth. Really interesting stuff and well executed.
