Diese Weyermann® Spezialität beruht auf einem Rezept des in Belgien so beliebten Witbiers. Diese Biersorte ist noch ein Überbleibsel aus der Zeit, als viele verschiedene, auch oftmals für uns ungewohnte Zutaten in Biere gegeben wurden. In einem Witbier sind dies klassischerweise Koriandersamen und Orangenschalen – so auch in unserem „Crazy Coriander“. Diese Zutaten und die Verwendung von Weizenmalz verleihen dem Bier die erfrischende Note, ideal für die heißen Sommertage. Die an Sonne erinnernde helle Farbe und der kompakte, feinporige Schaum unterstützen das Sommerfeeling. Die spritzigen Aromen der Orangenschalen unterstreichen das Würzige des Korianders und geben dieser außergewöhnlichen Komposition den letzten Kick.
Passend serviert zu Eis, am Besten zu Zitronensorbet.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear pale golden, fizzy head. Distinct coriander aroma, Sweetish with very light body and clean mouthfeel. Watered white bread, coriander, slight orange. Low bitterness. Would have guessed this to be 1.5%.

0.33l bottle, huge thanks Patrick M for sharing it with Ryan and us! Pale yellow-golden body, very pale, lasting big off-white head. Huuuuge coriander-driven aroma, bit of orange and tea. Lean, dry taste, too empty, just some minty and coriander notes. Okay.

Clear pale yellow beer, big aery irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very floral, a bit soapy impression, rather faint, all in all. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very soapy, lots of coriander, a little bitter, citrus notes, grapefruit. Aftertaste: bitter, soapy, very floral, a little fruity, more citrus, ok.

Mild herber Beginn, hellmalzig, leicht nach Koriander. Kardamom kann ich nicht erkennen, Orangenschale ebenfalls nicht. Wässriger Körper, kurzer Abgang. 8/7/9/7/9/7

Clear golden yellow beer with a white lacing. Aroma of coriander, wheat malt. Taste of lime, citrus, coriander, wheat.
Mild Fruity coriander. Hints of bubble gum, mild and grainy. Fruity back, Sessionable with a grainy mild finish.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.ABV: 3.5%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, coriander, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, spicy, coriander, pale malt, light wheat - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130523]
