Bottle split at the brewery, 30/03/13. Hazed golden with a thin white head that clears to a film. Nose carries floral hops, spice, grass, orange pith, light pineapple. Taste comprises orange sherbet, hops, grapefruit, mineral tones, spice, grass. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, dry crisp and refreshing in the finish. A hopped up saison, not especially true to the style but a very decent offering none the less!

Cloudy amber beer, good creamy white head. Palate is light and crisp. Minerals. Nice tangy hop fruits. Typical Galaxy - slightly bitter mango. A little orange. Mild creamy malt underneath. Pinch of spice in the dry finish.

Aroma: Yeast with tropical fruit notes of mango and pineapple.
Appearance: Murky amber body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Light lacing.
Taste: Underripe citrus flavours and nice tropical fruit notes too. Quite yeasty.
Palate: Medium body with an oily oily texture. Light carbonation.
Overall: I think this is better than their Spiced Saison because of the additional tropical fruit note and its greater overall intensity of flavour.

Bottle at home in London, picked up at the brewery. Pours foggy gold with a small, creamy white head. The nose is beautiful, lots of grapefruit, peach, dry pine needles, mango. Light to medium sweet flavor, some mellow yeast, dry pale malts, crunchy straw, pithy citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, peach. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty clean to finish, some what dry, hints of sandy yeast, lots of juicy fruits, tropical fruits. Semi-ripe citrus, orange, clementine, grapefruit, peach. Great stuff. Extremely drinkable.

Cloudy brown gold with thin white head. Strong galaxy hop aroma. Decent saison. Good yeast character. Full in mouth. Very drinkable. Went well with my lamb leg steak sandwich. Not overly bitter but very drinkable indeed.

Bottle at Partizan brewery, Bermondsey, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Yeasty, citrus, banana aroma. Tastes similar, spice, citrus, yeasty, quite dry and bitter. Not bad but I’d have liked it sweeter.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Poured a cloudy orange with a broken white frothy head. The aroma is clean and grassy. The flavour is mainly of grapefruit and its a touch sour, but it’s a very smooth beer. There is some dry spiciness on the palate, but not a lot. Having said that though, the palate did develop somewhat as the beer was allowed to breath and got slightly warmer. Another great ale from Partizan!

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy, soupy gold with a small head. Aroma is melon and piney hops, with a little spicy yeast. Taste has spicy melon to start. Fruity spicy finish with a mango hop aftertaste.
