Bottle, 1 pint and 9 oz's. Drank on 29th March 2019. Really disappointed with this, was expecting something a bit more interesting to be honest. Hazy, dull Old Gold colour, wispy white covering for a head. Strange stale taste and aroma, soggy cardboard that has been dipped in a sweet syrup made of corn. I struggled to finish the whole bottle, lesser men would have drain poured the thing after the first sip.

Thanks Riba! Hazy darker golden body with a small thick white head. Generic fruity maltiness, corny. Generic clean malty taste. Tastes like a lager just a vague herbal touch. Slightly vague citric touch. Meh. Ok lager. Only it’s not.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, lemons, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and a bit of caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

33cl bottle thanks unstablefable. Pours golden with a slim head. The nose has cardboard and honey. The taste has a bit more tanginess, so lemony but then more cardboard and honey. The palate is light to medium bodied, not particularly fresh, but drinkable.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a chalky malt with light boiled veggies, a bit strange. In mouth, a smooth chalky malt with sweet creamy notes, rather mundane pils. Bottle at Mondiale 2012 , June 9 2012.

Really not that bad for what it is. I’d say Otro Mundo did a better job of this than they did with the other styles I’ve tried. Granted, their isn’t much going on here other than a faint graininess in the malt, but that something is a lot more than most blond beers.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy light amber with a 3 finger foamy white head. Aromas of wood and hay??? Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is toffee which initially is under a woody (not oaky) and fruity flavor set. Finishes fairly clean, but not very bitter. It’s an interesting and unusual ale. Age? It had a 12/12 on the stickon label. If that’s a date, we’re within it, so it is hopefully what it’s supposed to be. I’ll drink it.
