Støckel Pale Ale is brewed with barley malt and hop. The beer is of a pale golden colour and topped by a dense, white froth.
Støckel Pale Ale is of an intensive and fresh aroma of passionfruit and citrus, rendered by the hop. An inviting scent of malt lie hidden at the back of this aroma. The refreshing character of the hop is also experienced on the palate where the citric taste is most prominent. The malt lends a perfect contrast to the bitterness of the hop, enveloping it in its velvety body. This perfect balanced comes forth in the aftertastes: a sweet beer of full body, and yet fresh.
Støckel Pale Ale goes well with marinated herring, chicken/bacon sandwiches, fried fish or very spicy Asian food.

500 ml can, from Superbrugsen, Ans. ABV is 4.7%. Golden colour, pours fizzy with a moderate white head - looks like a pilsener. Moderate but decent aroma of fruity hops (tropical fruits). The flavour is medium sweet, with tolerable fruity hops, but the bitterness is low. An okay refreshment, nothing more.

500 ml can. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma has light pale malt and light floral hops with a hint of citric fruit. Flavor is light pale malt, some fruit, hint of lemon and flowers with low bitterness. Medium to thin body and short aftertaste. A thirst-quencher and not much more than that.

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grass, peach and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. A more or less clear one, golden in color and topped by a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is orangey and lightly peachy, with some pine cones and underlying maltyness. Flavorwise it’s pretty much the same, the malts in the background, and the fruity hops up front. Rather low on bitterness. Medium body, soft and quite low carbonation. Short, fruity finish. Certainly not a winner, but an honest drinking beer, although too boring for my likings. 130420
