100ml, draught, last beer after three splendid drinking days at Ølfestival København 2013. Shiny surface to a near-clear, brown coloured body. On the nose I got bread and nuts supported by subdued fruit hoppy hints. Brown malty taste with herbal hops beneath. Finish off with a little roastiness to it all. Mid-dry and mid-sweet. Rather thin bodied. Accepted (Tap 1, Carlsberg, Copenhagen 25.05.2013).

Roasted and slightly citric aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Bready flavour, also nutty, I guess. A little watery mouthfeel, but not too bad.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2013. Appears also to be known as Brun Hasselkonge. Brewed with hazelnut syrup/extract. Brown colour, moderate off-white head. Distinctly nutty and malty aroma, quite nice. Distinct hazelnut flavour, medium sweet, but fairly light bodied. Not a bad brown ale this one.
