Keg@CBC2013 Dark amber color, small steady beige head, some lace. Malty, a bit toasted aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Caramel, malts, hops, some alcohol. Chinese lighter version of Mikkeller’s Big Bad Barley wine.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Day 2, Session 1. Pours clear, ruby-brown with a fine, tan cream head. Toasted leaves in the nose with notes of bread. Big sweet flavor with toasted bread, rich berries, earthy leaves, some grains. Full bodied with fine carbonation and a creamy texture. Lightly warming on the finish with some resinous, toasted pine, leaves, toasty bread. Fairly drinkable stuff.

Draught @ CBC 2013 [ Red Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, DenmarkClear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet sugar - chocolates, light raisin - fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130504]
