Can. Rich amber/copper pour with a small off-white head that soon recedes to a fine ring. The aroma is mild with toasted grains and a touch of caramel. The taste, like the nose, is toasted grains, caramel, pecans, bitter walnuts and a trace of pine resin. The palate is full and viscous (as you would expect in a malty beer). Finishes long and sticky semi-sweet. Overall: decent, this is a damn fine oktoberfest brew.

Pint can pours with a clear copper to amber body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up caramel matls, faint biscuit and then a sliver of fruity esters. The taste delivers a blend of caramel malts, a thin slice of dark bread and sweet prune esters. This comes together nicely.
