Bottle. Deep, reddish-amber with a big, tight, off-white head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of bready malts, some sharp citrus fruit and a hint of roastiness. Roasted malts were more pronounced in the mouth, with plenty more orange fruits, and a touch of woodiness before a dryish finish. Good stuff.

Bottle at home. It pours deep amber with a medium beige head. The nose is wood, toast, varnish, stewed orange, caramel and a touch of instant coffee. The taste is earth, wood, good bitterness, tinned pineapple, resin, varnish, coffee, peppery touch and toast with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice level of bitterness. Iβm pretty impressed with this one.

50cl bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Clear mid brown with lasting beige head. Choc lime style malty hoppy aroma. Yep, pretty solid. Nice choc lime flavour, decent hops, some toasty malt. Pretty decent. Yep very acceptable beer.

Clear copper pint with a thick foamy head. The aroma was a mix of malt and fruit and the flavour similar but with a sharp hoppiness in there as well. Very crisp and refreshing, a really nice pint.

Dark golden brown, rich white head
Aroma - caramel malts, roast malts, some herbal spicy hops
Taste - caramel malts, some roasted malts, nutty malts, bitter grassy hops, bit of chocolate, hint of citrus in the background, hint of coffee in there, touch of spicy hop....this is quite a complex tasting bitter
Palate - soft carb, medium body. Finish a bit dry, as main flavour, pleasant linger of grassy bitter hop, caramel and light roast
Overall - Well this redefines βboringβ bitter - itβs surprising complex. Excellent work from Alechemy.
