Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is brown malt with caramel and dried fruits including raisins. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Okay Bock, could have used a little more body.

330 ml. bottle. I thought that this was an Oud Bruin while getting this for some reason. Dark red amber, little head. Nose is cough syrup, herbal, spices, bad DE,… Heavy paint cough syrup & medicinal red wine, syrup, red wine,… Cough syrup & wine body, not my style overall. 330 ml. bottle. Clear deep amber colour, good two finger frothy beige head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, cocoa, light dark fruits. Taste light medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, grainy, caramel, fruity notes, touch of chocolate. Roasty sweetbitter finish, light spicy notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not your typical bok, very nice though.

Bottle @ home. Clear deep dark ruby red brown color. Big dense beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: red fruit, toasted malt. Same retronasal. Flavor is light moderate sweet with lots of fruit and light roasty bitterness. Medium bodied. Quite soft carbonation. Finishes with some roast, slightly dry, light bitter. Nice, but I wouldn't have recognized this as a bock.

Bottle. Color: Ruby, off-white to beige head. Taste: Medium to below medium bodied bock, medium sweet with decent bitterness. Roasted malt, notes of caramel, hints of brown sugar and lightly hints of nuts and red fruit. OK bock, but nothing more than that.

Fles van het Biermoment. Vrijwel helder amber kleurig. Fruitig, toffee, en iets van vijgen. Bonuspunten voor het etiket.
