Cask (handpump) @ 29th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2012, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Clear medium yellow color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, sweet malt, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20121204]

Cask at Pig’s Ear BF, London - 05/12/12. Clear pale golden with a thin bubbly white head. Nose is pine, light tropical fruits, pale malt, light floral tones. Taste is piney, hoppy, caramel malts, citrus, grapefruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Decent hoppy stuff.

Pigs Ear. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Smooth dry palate. Mild minerals. Tangy orange hops, marmalade. Mild fresh citrus. Dry finish. All right. Could have been hoppier!

Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a rich, white head. Good condition. Peach, orange, lemon on the nose, light pale malts. Medium sweet flavor, pale malts, more peach, orange and lemon. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sticky to finish with mild straw bitterness and dry lemon. Pleasant.

Cask at Pig’s Ear Beer festival 2012, Hackney, London. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, bitter, slightly sweet. Slightly unbalanced. It’s OK.
