A sour wheat beer with a centuries-old tradition, this Berlin specialty risked oblivion before coming back into vogue thanks to the recent craft beer movement. A straw-colored beer with a light and elegant body and a moderate acidity, our interpretation features a distinctive cereal flavor with hints of spices.

Bottle at kermis' Asian food festival. Slight gusher. Slight hazy pale straw with small white head. Rotten lemons, puke, dank hops, white bread, some fresh lemon, light dough, a hint of poop. Medium sour and soft bitter. Light bodied. Some nice notes but there's a bit of puke throughout that I don't like at all.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours an uninteresting pale yellow with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet, spicy and with some resembling of lactobacyllus. Body is average, with low carbonation and some astringency. Taste is salty and slightly sour. Finish is short and clean.
