This NW style sour is a crisp, refreshing wheat beer that was barrel-aged for seven months then additionaly aged with strawberries for another eight months. Bright, sweet strawberries and light candy notes greet you in the nose. A light tartness and berry sweetness intermingle on the palate, giving way to a light, sparkling fresh berry tartness in the finish. It is better as a breakfast beer or a dessert? You decide.

Big bottle from Mikkeller web shop cons 2017-06-02 Göteborg AR: sour, tart strawberries, citric lemon AP: hazy amber, no head F: vinegar, citric, very sour, but a wee strawberries hint in the very end I really appreciated the strawberries!

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of strawberries, and brett. The flavor is sour with notes of strawberries, and btettanomyces, leading to a tart finsih.

Sample from 75 cl bottle. Hazy, amber golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with tart fruits, wheat malts, strawberries. Taste is tart fruity. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and tart fruity with strawberries. Nice.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is strawberry and phenolic to estery fruity. Citric, strawberry and fruity. Sour and slight citric finish. Dry and citric finish.

Borefts VIII. Day 1. Keg. Hazy amber beer, patchy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. Dry malts. Fairly sharp strawberry. Trace of sherbet and a whisper of yogurt. Light crisp and slightly acidic finish. Okay.
