Half-pint, cask on 2nd June 2018 in The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon. White crown on a clear golden body. Light malty nose and taste, some hop action with a mild citrus note or two. No dark rum like esters or flavours found. It was fine in the afternoon sun with my best girl by my side.

Cask at the maypole Cambridge a mostly clear golden coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is light honey, grassy hop, cereal. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malts, brown sugars, honey, earthy hop, burnt sugars. Palate is semi sweet grainy, moderate cask condition. Not bad.

Cask @ New Brew-m, Burnley. Golden and light textured, with a creamy head. Has a good malt-hop balance, without much character, but is a good session ale. There’s hints of fruit throughout and a mild sweetness in its taste, and a berry one in its nose.

Cask at the Wellington; clear golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head, feint malt aroma, taste has pale malts a feint undercurrent of citrus, not much going on with this.

(Cask at Bricklayer’s Arms) The aroma of the beer was quite malty which I wasn’t expecting based on the colour which was pale golden. One of the flavours was strawberry which I usually associate with Fuller’s brews. Quite interesting to find it in this one, too. The finish was sweet and bitter. Balanced and nice to drink.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 24/03/10. Deep gold in colour with next to no head. Aroma of apricot and pineapple with some sweet malts. Sweet, fruity flavour with some citrus hops and dry finish. Good.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Clear gold, very lasting bubbly white head. Slightly yeasty on aroma. Not sure rum is very present. It’s got a bit of sweetness form the rum, yes definite edge to it, over a perfectly fine golden ale. Rather good.
